Professor Kylie Mason

CI Mason is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology, The University of Melbourne, and a Clinical Haematologist at the department of Clinical Haematology, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Her research focuses on malignant and classical haematological disease in the aspects of pre-clinical models of novel agents, epidemiological models of disease and treatment and clinical trials of novel agents. She is the Lead of the Classical Haematology stream and is a national leader in the care of persons with sickle cell disease and thalassaemia. She was the chair of education and training for the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (2018-22) and a member of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) and the PBAC economics subcommittee.
